Meeting with the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda

On February 28, 2024, a meeting was held in Kupiškis with the Lithuanian Small and Medium Business Council board and other business representatives with the President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda. During the meeting, issues of concern to business were discussed.

Meeting with Algirdas Sysas, a member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania

On October 10, 2023, a meeting took place in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania with the member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Sysas. The President of the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors Romas Stumbrys and Ukrainian citizens doing business in Lithuania Kateryna Serdiuk, Serhii Adamenko, Oksana Mangushlu took part in the meeting. During the meeting, issues of the use of digital identity documents issued by the Migration Department and support for Ukrainian citizens engaged in business in Lithuania, who came to Lithuania after Russia's military aggression in Ukraine, were presented.

Meeting with the Vice Minister of Economy and Innovation.

In June, 2023, the President of the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors Romas Stumbrys together with Ukrainian citizens, who came to Lithuania after Russia's military aggression in Ukraine, and Ukrainian citizens that are engaged in small business met with Erika Kurochkina, Vice Ministress of Economy and Innovation. The problems of Ukrainians creating businesses were presented in the meeting.

The main issue of the meeting was the possible government support for their business and development - to create jobs. Possibilities and solutions on how to help the business of Ukrainians who came to Lithuania after Russia's military aggression in Ukraine will be considered in the future.

Meeting with the chairperson of the Small and Medium Business Support Group of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania

In a meeting that took place on 11 May, 2023 in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, the President of the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors Romas Stumbrys and Ukrainian citizens engaged in small business met with Laima Mogeniene, Chairwoman of the Small and Medium Business Support Group of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania and a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania, Parliament of the Republic of Lithuania Kasparas Adomaicius. Topical issues for Ukrainian citizens doing business in Lithuania were discussed during the meeting. The participants - citizens of Ukraine engaged in business - got a better understanding and support for the issues raised by them.

Meeting with citizens of Ukraine

On April 28, 2023, Romas Stumbrys, president of the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors, met with Ukrainian citizens who came to Lithuania after Russia's military aggression in Ukraine and started a small business in Lithuania. The possible state of support for small businesses of Ukrainian citizens who came to Lithuania after the Russian military occupation of Ukraine and who find it quite difficult to do business was discussed at the meeting. They have concluded that by running a small business, they create jobs and pay taxes, also they particulary create jobs for Ukrainian citizens. In this case businessmen help ukrainian fellows support Ukraine and their relatives.
