Presentation of the activities of the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors to Business Immigrants from Ukraine

On July 15, 2022 a round table was held on the topic "Peculiarities of Ukrainian business in Lithuania - challenges and prospects". The event was organized by the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors, CJ-SC "BFTI Europe'', CJSC "Donteks''. Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Lithuania, representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Lithuania participated in the event. Business issues relevant to business immigrants were presented and discussed at the event. Representatives of the European Bank and reconstruction presented opportunities to support business immigrants working or starting a business from Ukraine in Lithuania. The Association of Business Immigrants and Investors presented its activities and opportunities to help business immigrants from Ukraine in Lithuania.

On 20 October, 2022 Dalia Matukiene, President of the Small and Medium Enterprises Council, Romas Stumbrys, President of the Business Immigrants and Investors Association, and Sigitas Andriūnas, Commercial Director of MB "Argi" took part in the Press Conference of Seimas Deputy Algirdas Butkevičius, held in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania.

Press conference on legal loopholes preventing business immigrants from integrating and doing business in Lithuania

On March 30, 2022 Seimas member Andrius Bagdonas held a press conference in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, in which the head of the Business Immigrants and Investors Association Romas Stumbrys, business immigrants from Ukraine Oleksii Iarotskyi and Andriy Kharkhalis participated. Main topics: legal and regulatory loopholes that prevent business immigrants from successfully integrating and doing business in Lithuania, comments and suggestions were expressed by the Seimas member Andrius Bagdonas, head of the Association of Business Immigrants and Investors Romas Stumbrys and business immigrants from Ukraine doing business in Lithuania. All of them concluded what kind of changes are needed to create a more favorable environment for business and for more Ukrainian entrepreneurs to choose Lithuania.
