2. Permanent permission
Permanent residence permit in Lithuania is a document that gives a foreigner the right to live in the Republic of Lithuania and confirms the status of a foreigner as a permanent resident of the Republic of Lithuania.
Citizens of foreign countries have the right to carry out economic, commercial and other legal activities in the Republic of Lithuania. First of all, you need to register a company (UAB) in order to obtain a temporary residence permit for one year with the option of extending it and later obtaining a permanent residence permit. The right to obtain a permanent residence permit in Lithuania is acquired after 5 years from the issuance of the temporary residence permit.
Persons who have a residence permit in Lithuania on the basis of commercial activity (UAB) can purchase a car with the possibility of operating it outside the European Union (temporary export according to the legislation of the country of entry).
A permanent residence permit in the Republic of Lithuania is issued within 1-2 months.
